Nice CTB, those 2101 pockets look very different to each other. Not sure if its the angle but I bought a pair of Lee 52's and the same thing has happened to my back pockets. One of them shrunk differently to the other and forced it to look lopsided.

There was a pair of DS 2101 Evis over at yahoo for like 17000Yen. Size 33, pretty good deal id have to say.

heres the arcs half way done after i took this pis i watered down the paint a bit and went over the arc again and it made it look alot smother and cleaner round the edges

Seems those evisu anniversary jeans on the international site are made in Japan.

Considering that the 2008 cut is supposed to be slim-fitting/straight leg, I assume these jeans are STF.

You'd need some serious shrinkage outta that top block...that's bulkier than my 2504s, and they're meant to be a looser cut...

LOL. That's the only way I can rationalize it. That fit is pretty atrocious; particularly when one reflects on the measurements of the jean presented on the International site. They also have "Special" on the tag....Though that could mean anything.

Also, something tells me these might not be made in Japan.....

Vintage shops are going to be expensive in Tokyo. It's cheaper in Okayama, if you manage to go down south. Try Osaka too. They have a ton of shops there as well as a million Evisu stores. Let us know what you're looking for.

Sometimes by $100. But there's a lot of shops in Tokyo as well, so you might find some rare gems.

Tbh unless you're on the smaller side of things waist wise (~30) most of the vintage shops aren't gonna have a lot of stuff for you. Atleast in the Kansai area, I can't speak for Tokyo though.
