What are your jeans doing today?

Recommended Posts

@Naoto Ver.2 I have a couple MIJ cons. 70's are still nicer overall but the japanese are closer to the original  chucks shape. Always worth checking the abc marts stores that are all over the place for deals on cons and japanese only models as is White Atelier in Shinjuku and Journal Standard. The Japanese Purcells are very nice though, retaining the shape of the original but more padded. The Purcells are not MIJ but just Japanese models.

I like em so much I doubled up when I bought em!

Sorry for the geeking out, I come from a cons obsessed family!

Thanks for your info - very helpful!

I've never tried MIJ cons on before.....they sound & look nice, and I'm sure it's well crafted, but I wonder if it's really worth it every time I go back to Japland. (Moreover, ABC Mart refused to deduct the VAT)

I, however, purchased J.Purcell and One Star which were exclusively available at ABC. They were made in Indonesia but they're really, really good.

This morning I stopped by one of my favourite old shops in the city, spent a while looking over the owner's small collection of 19th and 20th century kimono:

Thanks mate, unfortunately not. We already left for Cornwall, but fall will be great at home: Satyricon, Enslaved, Morbid Angel and maybe Dying Fetus within a feek weeks time. But yeah, I really love that Tee!

Ooms a poet?

And we didn't even know it!

Congrats my friend, that's great news. Where can we buy your book internationally?

Edit: about that publisher...

Big's a good gig

Went to Mills Day here in Greensboro, NC at the Revolution Mills Factory, one of the original Cone Mills factories.

The factory has been bought by a very wealthy man and has turned it into lofts and office space unfortunately.  They're still converting some of the space as well.

My girlfriend's TCB 701 were playing "pétanque" in a remote village in Switzerland. It's a French game where you throw heavy balls as close as possible near the "cochonnet (or little pig)" to get points. Very famous game in south of France.

Couldn’t find a thread to dump these photos, so .... here’s what my jeans are [literally] doing :D

Due to very limited closet space, the S/S rotation will be tucked away in a travel case til spring, while the heavies are sprung for F/W ... meanwhile, the “pairs-in-process” get to hang.
