ikr.. last week my mrs said that there was breaking news re- some kind of exposure to toxic chemicals in one of the flats at Park Hill, resulting in the flat owner being seriously injured and 4 police officers being hospitalised, once the actual facts were established (along with the nationality of the occupant :D ) it turned out to be some hipster who got a bit overenthusiastic with the cleaning products...

Great Michael!

Recently "somehow" I became the main cook at home. Although I never cooked too much. It's pumpkin season so why not make use of that?

Adding onions and garlic

Season it with oil, salt, pepper and "Real German Honey"

The pumpkin mix comes in the oven for 25 minutes

The Duches is making quilts - she made a couple for my old ma’ , you know the type - tiny triangles of old floral fabrics EB310BA9-26E1-451E-893B-7E6A750E7B4D.thumb.jpeg.d5366af6132c928d616c3dd4a612d1b6.jpeg

So anyway this led to conversation with my pal over in Kyoto and he asked if the Duchess could make something for him - not that old lady style, but something more American southwest. So I came up with this from an old rug

Which is becoming this …

That’s a dish I’m not familiar with. Is it a b_F creation and how did it turn out?  Most important, did the baby smile at the aroma, if not the taste?  (too young, I’m guessing ;-)

A random internet find after buying pumpkin and thinking "what can I do with it"? :D
The baby actually smiles a lot but only he knows why ;)

Once they'd served their purpose and scared the trick or' treaters.. i got an old curtain pole from the outside loo, hammered it into the garden and impaled our pumkins on the end, like a scene from the less popular vegan remake of Cannibal Holocaust, the boy and i took turns bashing them with the baseball bat :D

I tried to film it in slo-mo using the boy's phone but it was just too dark..
