Hey team! Hope all is well up in here. Sending warm thoughts to dr.house and almostnice.

Going on three weeks into the India travels, and it's been pretty rad so far: Mumbai, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Agra, Mathura and Manali. While I'm at an internet cafe backup up photos, thought I'd share a quick few!

In the Thar Desert, about 45km from the border of Pakistan (which explained the two passes I saw done by a couple of fighter jets - quite incongruous with the desert peace)

my update isn't really cool enough for this page, sufjan, happy socks, the Taj Mahal! Wow guys, really good stuff! repped where I could.

anyhow heres my meager update to keep the royxcone train rollin'.

Our new house has several flower beds/garden areas. We just moved in and MAN! did they need tended to. We started at around 10 and worked right up til 1 o' clock. Fortunately for us the weeds were pretty easy to pull since we got some rain last night.

I forgot to take any 'before' pictures, but here are some after we finished.

Can't wait for these to ripen. I love home grown tomatoes!

One of the 9000 cucumbers we've pulled off of this plant. I think we're going to have to learn how to can. I see pickles in our future.

My OG ROYs and I made a soup today.

First, I will blanch the main ingredient (Warehouse BiGD5) with warm water.

Next, prepare the 'stock'. This step takes around 10 minutes or so.

And throw in a couple of water bottles and let it stew for 30 - 45 minutes.

had the camera out for a day off this past friday afternoon. spent some time in and around the YuYuan Gardens in Shanghai. some shots captured there and in the surrounding neighborhood...

Haha, I didn't take pics as the conversation was too good and getting pics would have spoilt the flow of the night. And it was a balti I had, being a true Brummie! I've had them elsewhere, but they never seem to quite get it right.

If you're ever in Brum, head for the Ladypool Road in Balsall Heath for curry then on to Moseley for drinks afterwards - a true local's night out, cutting out the city centre's weekend out-of-towners!

As for the shoes, cheers! Something I'm going to try again, this time maybe try something a little more ambitious...
