anyone else pre-order the HyperX Cloud II?

My Sennheiser finally crapped out after 6+ years.

I don't really game much at the moment due to an old computer, but it'll be nice to able to watch movies and listen to music on hopefully a much improved headphone with new tech.

ive always found gaming headsets to have quite bad audio quality compared to proper headphones. imo youre better off spending the same money on actual headphones and a simple $10 mic

just my 2c

I fixedt old headphones last night. Think Iight return the HyperX.

If you have suggestions pls share. I mostly watch movies nowadays.

Bro told me to get Bose wireless. That actually doesn't spiny too bad. Been finding the wire quite annoying now. Gets in the way like when watching porn.

when my last wired headset started having wiring issues and crapping out i went for a wireless one and it's been really nice having that freedom. i got the corsair 2100, which is a really good value, really comfortable, lasts 8 hours and charges in 2-3, but it did take a lot of tweaking to get the audio to sound right. they come out of the box really bass heavy, or at least mine did. i also hear some faint white noise sometimes, when i'm not listening to music or playing a game, which is a little weird, but i've gotten used to it.

if i wanted to spend more and go up in quality, and make a real investment, i probably wouldn't get an all-in-one headset. i'd rather buy a tabletop mic like the blue yeti, then get some real nice standalone headphones.

i'm not a big fan of Bose's line of headphones to be honest, at their pricepoint you can do much better. i've heard both good / bad things about wireless headphones though

i have a pair of Grado SR60i's and imo amazing for the price but they're abit lacking for electronic music. one of my mates also said that buying a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50s was the smartest things he ever did

hope that helps

I ended up keeping the new headphones...at least they look decent.

So much shopping online and accustomed to free returns. Did not realize Newegg charges a restocking fee + return shipping cost. ffffuuuu.gif

hyped, hopefully this time around the game will be open world instead of using the navigation screen.

I'm considering if I should buy a PS4 now.

so excited. loved p4golden on vita and going to play through p3 soon. finally a next-gen(ish) persona game.

my biggest grip with the series so far has been the lack of dungeon variety, which makes sense since the games are so old. already looks way more interesting in the trailer as you can clearly see different obstacles and even maneuver abilities. little sad it was originally developed for ps3 though, means it won't be a real next-gen game but i guess we should feel lucky enough it's coming to ps4.

played the user created Snipers vs Stunters LTS in GTA the other day. pretty dope, pays out pretty big $$$ too. more fun if you have a big group

the one i played was a bit different than this one, was the ccc version. no sidewall barriers up top in the sniper roost

  • 3 weeks later...

Just started playing Morrowind again. There are so many terrible design decisions in this game but that somehow doesn't make it less amazing. My previous two playthroughs (like 10 years ago) were a warrior and a thief. This time I'm a mage, and it's probably the most fun type of character to play.

guild wars 2 was $10 last weekend so i picked it up. played the first one a pretty good amount. haven't really given 2 much time but it seems alright. just been playing world of tanks and war thunder lately, so it's a little weird playing a fantasy mmo again. couldn't give a shit about the storyline but hopefully pvp is fun.
