Double post.

I'm selling my T-mag, nice little knife but I prefer something bigger and with a solid lockup. It has a rare earth magnet in it so it sort of snaps, sort of lie a slipjoint, and feels pretty solid if you have your index finger in the choil. Perfect for people who cant have locking blades, carbon fiber scales, S30V steel

Got it a while ago, and i Just don't use it or carry it. It's literally sat in my desk dreawer since I bought it. I'm the second owner. It slices paper, I can probably get it sharper on my Sharpmaker. Has original box and info card with it as well.

They go for $60-90 on ebay. I'd be happy with 60 shipped.

More info:

http://www.bladehq.com/item--Spyderco-TMAG-Manual--2662

MADE IN USA

On the blade it says

Golden, Colorado

U.S.A, Rare Earth

A nice little touch because of the rare earth magnet.

picked up that Fenix L0D that I got on sale from REI online today. Also a few of those E10s for gifts. I think they are hideous but other people find them cool.

I have to say I may stop carrying my PD20 around as much now that I have the L0D. I like how nicely it sits on the keychain and that it has diff modes, even tho the UI is kind of shitty compared to clicky or 4Sevens style.

Right now I think the only thing in the works for sure is an E01 killer. I'm really curious to see what they can do to oust the E01, which arguably killed the Arc AAA (as far as price point to performance).

nitecore is coming out with new lights, zebralight is upgrading some of their lights as well

So, I got in a fist fight last week, skip this post if you don't want to read about it. Not trying to sound cool because I don't think getting in fights is cool, but hey, I was drinking and really frustrated.

I'll try to make this as short as possible.

I was at a house party on the porch with some friends, and these two guys were calling us gay for wearing tight pants. Of course, my friends and I didn't care, but we like to instigate shit, and kept talking to him. Asking him why he cared what we wore, blah blah. Totally closed minded typical frat guys. Guy 1 was putting his hand right in my face, trying to be a dick, kept coming over and interrupting our conversations (with girls no less) and just overall being a huge douchebag. Finally Guy 2 threw a lit cig in my friends face, I asked him why he had to be so rude and disrespectful, and all he could say was "swing at me bro!". So then Guy 2 pushes me away, and either I swing first, or he does, don't remember. Now I have a grip on his shirt with my left hand, we're throwing punches back and forth, end up on the ground, gets broken up. At this point, a bunch of people want to make it bigger than it is, and run over to "get my back" I just wanted to get out of there because I was wearing a bright yellow shirt on a somewhat main street in a college town, did not want to get police involved.

Here's where the EDC part comes in. The entire time I could have grabbed my keys w/ EX10 on it, or even my Military, and could have completely fucked him up. However, in my moment of stupidity, I decided to be somewhat smart and not get out a weapon. I'm kind of rethinking carrying/not carrying my E2D in my front right pocket (wasn't at the time) but if I did have it, it might have gotten taken out, and strike bezel to the face isn't pretty. And yeah, this isn't really a "self defense" situation, just two inebriated guys throwing down, but if it were a more serious situation, the E2D and military would be key to my safety.

Moral of the story? Don't get in fights. Overall I just shrugged it off and didn't really care, and was kind of laughing about it right after, but if a cop would have been rolling through I would have been straight fucked.

So keep your cool EDCer, because knuckles to the forehead doesn't feel nice.

Knuckles to the forehead is nothing. Ain't gonna do damage. Just make the dudes hand hurt.

Just sayin.

exactly, jaw hurt for a while, but my thumb still hurts, haha.

To get this thread going again, would you guys be down to post videos of where you carry your things on you? Kinda like what Branespload did a while back. It could bring some interesting discussions!

I'll post one up if i'm not the only one doing it!

I would but my digi-cam only allows for 3 minute videos for some reason. Might borrow my friends HD one and make some vids.

I was actually thinking about doing this. My carry is pretty straight forward but i am down. I will get that together in the next few days.

used my swiss army knife and some wood glue to fix a chair today...yay edc

on another not i have a few questions.

can anybody post a mc gizmo clip size comparison. dont want a clip thats too big.

and Ive seen some people use these kinda rings for their keychains and was wondering how secure they were, if they came undone easily stuff like that.

do not get the 15mm (far left) or 34 (far right) imo. far right will b too big and far left is too small/weak.

and the cable rings... fuqq em. a lot of people like them but if you use them, get the coated cablerings. i had a small one that came with my pico pen and it would unscrew under the weight of my keychain and all my gear would hit the concrete. i ended up loctiting it with like nail varnish or something but it defeated the purpose…

so either get a beefy cable ring or just go split/whole ring

Yeah those cables are good, but there are downsides to having a cable. If you want to take one thing off you have to do it while supporting the whole keychain otherwise all your other shit slides off too, etc whereas on a split ring you'd have to take things off one at a time, but you dont really have to worry about things coming off on their own.
