Central St. Martins for fashion design

Recommended Posts

i have a few friends at st.martins, yes the application process is very very competitive, as it is regarded as one of the most reputable fashion colleges in the world. From what I have heard, and from seeing my friends portfolios who study there, a very good 'classical' fine art style makes your portfolio much more desirable. Showing figure drawing, and showing that you understand the technical aspects of drawing are quite important.

I would say an even balance between this and an original perspective on fashion are the two most important things for your portfolio.

I think being in international student you'll have a head start as they charge what? £13k per annum compared to £4k for a domestic student.

Good luck though, wish i knew what i wanted to do 6-7 yrs ago.
