My abiding (personal) memory of Poell is trying on an outfit where I couldn't really walk in the boots and it took two SAs to help me button up a coat. I looked awesome once everything was sorted though.

the rubber block was made with mens derbies and boots as well.

A good part of the womens collections have been very similar to the mens, sometimes it seems like he is trying to dress women in mens clothes which could be considered de-feminizing. In one of the earlier female collections the model had her face masked with tape to appear disformed. Then again, the clothes were much more abstract than the mens.

On the other hand, he had a womens collection where the clothes were cut and presented specifically to fit a pregnant woman, including various "shields" for a pregnant belly. So, who knows..
