Very nice denim, feels like 14oz. 100% cotton, no stretch. These feel like they would give a bit in the waist if needed though.

I think the first two pictures above give a pretty good representation of the colour. They're quite a deep black. See also these photos:

They don't really have a noticeable blue tinge like the last two photos suggest (they both overexposed, too much sunlight in the room...).
