I just used lacing leather as I couldn't find really thin leather like I see used by Corter and others. It's pretty rugged, lol. The braiding was easy but I can't figure out back braiding or how to attach it nicely to the hooks as the leather is just too thick. I don't really like really long braids as I think they sometimes look a little cheesy so I kept this one pretty short.
