501XX4EVER 2,214 Posted July 23, 2018 (edited) These are the other pair with the pink selvedge, Lot 2012xx. I can't find anything about this model, they are very slim, I wouldn't be surprised if they used this pattern for the Lot 900. Both seem to be the 14.5oz denim as they are very similar to my Lot 700 and Lot 800. Lots of very nice subtle and traditional details on them and yes, I am a sucker for an offset belt loop, thanks for asking. Edit to say that I believe that the 2012xx date from sometime during 2004-2008, judging by the patch. Edited July 23, 2018 by 501XX4EVER
beautiful_FrEaK 1,664,753 Posted July 24, 2018 I’m sure I can’t help you but I guess both these models belong to those pairs which are sold at Inazuma festival. They often use different denim or other small different details compared to the normal jeans. And those jeans often end up on Yahoo Auction in the end. About the age of the second pair (2012XX): I’m not sure if they are that old. From what I know, Warehouse used to have standard inseam of 34” during that period. Only since the introduction of the new 1001 they started to offer most of their models with a inseam of 32” Of course, this can be plain wrong for such a special model
Maynard Friedman 565,200 Posted July 24, 2018 (edited) I think the first pair is newer as the patch reads ‘Extra Exceed’ rather than the ‘Extra Exeed’ that older pairs (including your second pair - the 2012XX) have. My 15th anniversary 1001XX pair has the corrected ‘Extra Exceed’ too and they’re from 2010, so I guess your 2012XX date from before that. I think b_F raises a good point about them possibly being made for Inazuma too. Edited July 24, 2018 by Maynard Friedman
beautiful_FrEaK 1,664,753 Posted July 24, 2018 But the bartacking of the red tab is also a rather new detail for Warehouse. In 2004-2008 they wouldn't have cared at all (ok, maybe in 2008 they would have). When did they first used the bartacking to cover the tab? I think I first noticed this on the 1001SXX. Is that from 2014 or so?!
501XX4EVER 2,214 Posted July 24, 2018 Thanks for the replies chaps, excellent points made and very helpful ways to date Warehouse jeans via the inseam length and the bar tacking on the red tab, I wouldn't have thought of those myself. I know the export models had longer inseams, but they seem to have stopped making those now. Now let me up the confusion levels a bit more, they both had long(-ish) inseams in their raw state, both around 36", which as someone who is roughly 6.2, was one of the things that attracted me to them in the first place, here are the measurements from the original listings; 1000/1001xx ■ notation: W34 ■ absolute size: total length: 121.5cm Waist: 88cm Length: 93cm Hem: 23.5cm 2012xx Brand Name: Warehouse WAREHOUSE size: W34 L32 Total Length: 122cm (side top-cuffs) Rise before: 31cm Back Rise: 40cm inseam: 92cm (the upper-hem opening of the seam line of the inner thigh) hem width: 21cm waist: 45cm (flat) Watari: 34cm color: Indigo state: new. Rigid products. I think the Inazuma festival thing or something similar, might hold some water as they came without any tags or flashers, do the jeans made for the festival usually come without tags/flasher?

Toegun 726 Posted July 30, 2018 I've seen a pair of Heller's Cafe jeans going on line at a good price. The waist is a 36, which is great but I worried about the inseam, which is a 32. I prefer 34 or a 33 minimum. The pair are one wash but does anyone know how likely are they stretch out? I have a pair of 1001 that shrunk massively when I soaked them especially in the leg but with daily wear they have grown to an inseam of 33, which when I cuff and wear with high tops they look good, if a little on the trendy side.
julian-wolf 1,343 Posted July 31, 2018 I don't have any experience with this fabric in particular, but…are you sure the inseam's actually stretched, and that the jeans haven't just loosened up and began to sit lower down on your hips / waist? I've experienced needing to cuff jeans higher as they break in, too, but I've never seen the actual inseam measurement increase appreciably
Toegun 726 Posted July 31, 2018 @julian-wolf I’m sure your right, I’ve not known any inseams to have “grown” either. I think I’m just trying to talk myself into buying them, the pockets remind me of Stevenson and from other pictures on the internet the fabric look a bit like banner denim. I personally I don’t have much luck finding good deals online, especially in size 36. I guess I could try loosing some weight, but...
Foxy2 7,400 Posted August 5, 2018 My inactive pair of WH DD-1003SXX (the initial edition, not the most recent limited edition with printed arcs) in its current state... One of WH’s beefier fabric choices...
beautiful_FrEaK 1,664,753 Posted August 5, 2018 Is that the pair you wanted to get rid off?
Foxy2 7,400 Posted August 5, 2018 (edited) I will probably get a pair of DD-1003XX soon. was taking pics for somebody else and realized how nice and different the denim is from WH’s other choices. I think more denim heads should get a pair in that denim as well...if they can make the cut (i.e. the taper) work for them. egyptian 97 Posted September 1, 2018 Anybody in EU order from Warehouse JP site recently? How's the process? Any other place in EU to cop a pair of 1003?
bod 108,735 Posted September 1, 2018 (edited) @egyptian From experience its easy although you will pay (if in the UK for example) import duty (12%) + VAT (20%) + parcel force handling fee (£13+) on top, they will not mark parcels down in value. Edited September 1, 2018 by bod
egyptian 97 Posted September 1, 2018 @bod Thanks for the info, I will order from them if there's no other alternative? I really want a pair of WW2 genes right now LVC '44 doesn't look as good as Warehouse 1003.
Bobbo 6,649 Posted September 1, 2018 Saw on Instagram that Clutch Café in London will get a special order of the 700. Maybe they'll have the 1003 as well? https://clutch-cafe.com/collections/warehouse-co https://goteborgmanufaktur.se/ also stocks Warehouse. No 1003's in at the moment but perhaps they can order a pair for you.

As much as I would love another pair of 700's, judging by how much they are charging for the "Warehouse Lot.1606 Second Hand Series Used Wash Jean",(£299=€333=OUCH!!!), they will probably be very expensive euros wise.

dealingwithit 5,169 Posted September 3, 2018 https://m.caliroots.com/warehouse-lot-1000-authentic-denim-pants-1000or/p/34529 i bought a used pair of these on eBay (they haven’t arrived yet) Does anyone know what the deal with these were? The description says they’re 13.5oz which would mean that maybe they’re “banner denim”? But from what I can gather the 1000 was usually made from the heavier 1000xx denim.

Duck Digger is Warehouse's "top of the line" / most specifically accurate repro models. For example, the 1000xx (not DD) is based off of late 40s/early 50s models, but not any year in specific. the 1001xx (not DD) fit changes every few years, and doesn't reflect the EXACT fit or details of a certain era necessarily. For the most part, the DD models are meant to be as close repros as possible, specifically fit and construction wise. Most of them use banner denim interestingly though, which is based off of a 30's denim, but is used on most models from 20's-60's (1105, 1101 etc) Someone correct me if I made any mistakes here

I believe they are the "Export" Model that Warehouse used to make, they used to be available via Blue in Green. I have a pair of 700, 800 and 1000 in these models,(the 700 and the 1000 were 50% off, just in case you start judging me). The 1000 are very similar to the ones you have pictured in the link, the offset rear belt loop and the tag, the 700 and 800 were both 14.5oz while the 1000 are definitely lighter in weight although I don't think they are "Banner Denim" as it is very dark denim. When yours arrive I will wager that they have denim pocket bags.
