Can we get them in the new denim? And a non stitched down Genus tab, flannel pocket bags, mixed war and post war details. Just my 2 cents!

Does anyone have the Warehouse tees in an XL? Curious to see how they measure, I’ve seen different measurements between the WH website and some other stockists.

@dondurian going over the details provided here:

1946 - https://www.ware-house.co.jp/?pid=137031000

Google translate of denim (and other bits…): 6.7 × 6.6 aging leather label with original barrack bag

1947 - https://www.ware-house.co.jp/?pid=109364377

Google translate of denim (and other bits…): No. 7 x No. 7 (13.5 Oz) U.S. Cotton 3 State Blend Aging Leather Label With Original Barrack Bag

... going over the numbers on those links there is very little difference in cut (looks like maybe a couple more cm in back rise for the 1947 than the 1946 for bigger sizes) : differences in the details; most noticeably the '47 is in the banner denim (well represented on the board already) whereas the '46 is in a newly produced denim type; fades of which are not prevalent on the board...

The 46 still holds over some of the wartime details , unfinished crotch seam , dome back pocket rivets ( sometimes steel ) , mix of plain and stamped rivets , stitched arc compared to painted and a few others . If you have a look at the warehouse product page you can see the products side by side

First day wearing the WD001 I got from Yahoo auctions . There a lot slimmer than what I've been used to the last few years but I really like the cut and even though to others outside our little comunity there isn't much difference in the details between the 40's and 50's they really have a different vibe to them if you know what I mean

Looks like I'm sucking on a lemon in this pic but there's on way I'm fucking about with that self timer again ( Warehouse Lockwood sweat aswell )

Warehouse just released and interesting version of the 2001XX type I, 1927 "small button" version.
No red tab, single needle pocket construction, "bulls-eye buttons", smaller collar construction.
This one is not listed in any catalogs and seems to be a version of the type I that was historically produced for one year as models afterward had the pocket tab and branded buttons.

There were a few variations of the type 1 in between this and the 36 506xx

this is one of the models that would have came in between

notice the larger pleat stitches compared to the thin ones on the 27 model , also the buttons were changed to branded buttons . I’m not 100% sure when the button change happened but this jacket is from 1933 ( because of the nra tag , only jacket I’ve ever seen with this tag .... must be worth a small fortune ) so it must have come before 33

This model must have came after the 33 model above

The collar changed to a more traditional collar shape and the buttons also changed to the bigger ones . I’m sure there are more subtle changes but I’m not as clued in on pre 1940’s stuff

Wouldn’t it be smarter to buy one size up on WH tees and just wash before wear to get the shrinkage out?  Almost every tee I’ve seen that I like says shrinkage may occur and I’m concerned about not being able to wear them. I beat my tshirts to hell sometimes!

I got the white 4601 loopwheeled tee and gave it a wash, I couldn't discern any shrinkage from the wash and hang drying.

I'd love a review/fit pics sometime soon!
