Warehouse

Medine

So I got a few things from Warehouse yesterday. One of those items is the Lot 1202 USNAVY DENIM UTILITY TROUSERS and they are golden. Loose fit, very high waist, fairly light weight denim, somewhat similar to a vintage style pair of khakis. They're going to be awesome this Summer with a t-shirt.

The only drawback is that the inseam is small. They're not going to require any hemming for me and I'm ~5'8".

don't they (warehouse web store) remove all tabs and arcs before sending it internationally?

regarding availability within Europe re; the dd '47

this place seems to have removed tabs but remaining stitching...

they still had a stitch through tab.

What’s the difference between a tab that’s been stitched and a tab that’s not been stitched? The actual text is stitched through?

Great find, unionmade! Didn’t find anything else on Warehouse but “Philosophy of Beams Plus” on www.beams.co.jp has similar write-ups from specialists on the history of items ranging from wallets to jeans to backpacks to fatigue pants, 14 articles and counting. Didn’t know about them till your post, lots of good reading, so thanks.

I wear 36 in lvc (which is around 37" true waist)

In the summer I tried on a 38 in 1001xx dd '47 for reference and that seemed just peachy in the shop but haven't worn them in, so such advice is to be taken with a pinch of salt; but they certainly weren't running oversize, for example...

Thanks mate , if I get a pair I think I want to size up to a 31 ( think my true waist is around a 30 )

Great texture on those.

I'd love a pair of 1001s, especially after looking at the absolutely sick fade gallery on Warehouse's website. Can't believe I spent the better part of the last decade under the illusion that Warehouse made boring washed out dad jeans.

I'm just worried that a < 32" inseam is too short for me. For a straight fit, I think they look best with a cuff of about 1.5-2" or so. So ideally I'd need a 34" inseam.

Maybe by the time I actually need a new pair of jeans in a few years, Self Edge will stock a long inseam 1001

@Cold Summer yeah a 34 in the inseam would be perfect. I bought mine raw and was amazed at how much they shrunk. I mainly notice the shortness when I’m walking but I’ve embraced the swinging cuffs and mainly pair them up with high top trainers or boots.

small double cuff

i mainly wear them double as it looks like I intentionally made them too short and it’s great ventilation in the warmer months.
plus I’m 6, 2.

Won these for a good price last week and I'm starting to get pretty excited for them. I've generally had to stay away from Warehouse due to the short inseams, but the listing had them at 92 cm, and this seller's measurements have generally been trustworthy, so I've got my hopes up that they may actually work out after shrinking.

Anyone have any background info on these? Tag reads 1001XX / 1000, but beyond that and the fabric there's not a whole lot to go off of.
