I'll try to get plenty of pictures up!
Does anyone have experience removing the upside down arcs on the WH jeans? I plan on doing it pre-wash so you can't really tell they were there but I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with it personally. I'm pretty good with a seam ripper so I'm not too concerned.

I was wondering about this too, only thing I'd be worried about it where the sitching meets from the upside down and right side up arcs.  Make sure to let us know how it goes!

I did, yeah. At least once a month, sometimes more often. I remember being clumsy and spilling food on these twice in the beginning.

The inseam is now 30.75"/78 cm and the leg opening is 7.25"/18,5 cm, otherwise the measurements are more or less like yours.

Yeah, nice try. :-)

too bad to see Ed's vibrant interest for denim science misunderstood for cheap voyeurism!

Thanks Frost, I don't need any more jeans but I couldn't pass up on these once I saw them.
The new FC looks really nice too, tempted by those but I shouldn't.
Also just pulled the jeans out of the wash and I can confirm the tab got a bit messed up but oh well, I think it looks kind of cool.

they fray from removing the stitching that holds them down. same thing happened on my 1003XX.  probably unavoidable.

Setterman is exactly right, just frayed a bit from removing the stitching.
I tried to do my best to preserve it but it's no big deal to me really.
