Warehouse 800, approx. 14 months, many washes. The most beautiful fabric in my collection in my opinion.

pre wash photos. Love this jacket. can't say that enough. My first experience with the banner denim and I love it. I can't wait to see how this jacket ages with a multitude of washes and daily wear.

Another thing I'd like to add - I had not a single loose thread on this pair. It's definitely one candidate for the jeans I'd like to rebuy when this one is worn out.

And in other denim jacket news, it looks like Warehouse has a blanket lined 2001 coming out soon.

What size are those type 1? Ans measurements pls?

Type 1 is a size 40 and I did a hot wash and tumble dry; measurements are as follows after a full day of wear:

 

Shoulder to shoulder 18.25"

Pit to Pit 21.5"

Shoulder seam to sleeve 24.25"

Top of collar to bottom 26"

Arm opening at shoulder 9.5"

What do you think about the length? Seems kinda long from the measurements but I'm not sure since i dont have a denim jacket.

body length is pretty standard to me, its a tad shorter than my tcb 50s jacket. However the sleeves are on the long side but i'm fine with that as i cuff my sleeves anyway

Thanks. I just got my confirmation on a 2002xx. I opted for a 42 as it looks to be cut a little slimmer than the 2001.

Does anyone have experience with the Lot 900 jeans? I'm after a pair of slimish jeans in the banner denim but am concerned the 900s might be too low rise.

I can't speak to the 900, but look into the 1105 (if you don't mind a zipper). They are pretty similar to a tapered 800 without feeling too slim.

About 17 or 18 washes in 8 months

 

Will probably get another pair in the banner denim someday. Can't keep wearing these for much longer because they're getting too loose in the waist.

My two cents and depending on your view I'd do more wear and less wash for the near future.

Thanks. Personally I can't really do less washes because it tends to get really hot around here and I can't stand sweaty jeans. I think they look pretty decent anyway so I'll probably stick with my normal routine.

I like 'em. One of the ideas I've kicked around is picking another pair of 1001 up after the DWC, and washing them more regularly (every dozen wears rather than roughly every 50).

Funny. I actually thought about getting the banner denim in a wider cut and try to cut down on the washes to about once a month instead. Maybe not for a while though, still wanna try out other brands.

 

I'll probably see if the 1101 is a good fit, and I'll probably look into the WWII models also. Or maybe they'll put something cool out in the banner denim for their 25th anniversary.

Yeah. My size 34 1105s measure 35in/89cm at the waist after some wear.

Is anyone going to get the new blanket lined jackets? I want one, but at that price, would have to be one hell of a jacket

Just got the type 1 with banner denim and can attest its one hell of a jacket... Having a blanket lining would could only make it better (assuming your in the climate that warrants the blanket)

Personal opinion here, I prefer denim jackets without the lining since it's hard to wear one often enough as it is. Without the lining you can wear it in all sorts of temperatures, as a jacket, or as a layering piece. Pretty badass to have a lined one too though...

^agreed. If you're worried about warmth- a thermal, thick crewneck sweatshirt, and denim jacket is plenty for me and thats for NYC winters.
