I just got my 1001s in and I couldn't be more happy.

The denim is great, love the blue/grey hue that it has.

Since they're OW they're super comfortable out of the box.

The length is just right too.

Glad I got these for my first pair of Warehouse.

If I was a 32, I'd buy these in an instant:

http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w94329388

Digger jeans, 1001XX, 100 pieces made. This is essentially a 1001XX using Duck Digger denim, although note that the seller says the red tab may be loose (can sew it back on easily though). Best part: Buy it now for 15000 yen

If I could navigate an auction in Japanese and feel confident I understood what I was doing, I'd be all over this. Haha. As is, it's a page with characters caging in a pair of jeans I really would love to have. I'm truly a 31, but don't mind my jeans a little big. The fit on my Devi's in 32 is killer. I pull them up to my belly button and let them brush the top of my Chucks.

Alright, so here's some shitty fit pics since I don't have much else besides a cellphone for taking pictures right now.

I have pretty big thighs/legs overall from playing football in the past, so the cut is just slim enough for me.

I think that the third picture is the best representation of the fit.

That's an interesting observation; there's a few thoughts from that - does the first pair of any good selvage we buy set the bar for future purchases, what other brands have set our bar, do we look to compare other purchases whether consciously or not against any bar or not ?? What defines the bar, cut or fabric or instead some intangible quality?  Sorry, off topic, but it just got me contemplating out loud.

interesting question, here's an attempt at an answer: i've got five pair of jeans, and each has a detail or two that i consider to be the best of its kind. my mf cali 54 maybe has the best silhouette for me, my sc hawaii has the most outlandish and fun fabric (and maybe also the most rugged, indestructible construction), my fc 1108 has the subtlest fabric and most thought-out little details and playful, almost-unnoticed deviations from normal (curved top of the backpockets, the weird, unclassifiable cut), my sda champloo has the neatest stitching and maybe is the one pair of pants that really proves that jawnz cliche "they will conform to your body" and my dry bones red-d has a curved back yoke that no one else has and is probably the slimmest i can go with a pair of jeans.

conversely, each of these jeans has a detail or two that i don't like. the flat boring cone denim of the cali and, errr, maybe that's it. :P

whenever i check out a pair of new denim nowadays, i always look for those details and would compare them with what i've already got and experienced. to kop or not to kop would often depend on the data gleaned from these se-big-rakuten-based comparative studies. for example i'd love a pair of blacksmiths but i'm skeptical of the cone denim or, errr, maybe that's it.

A little itsy bitsy question.

Is the new 1001 model the same silhouette as the 800 now? Was looking at measurements from Earthmarket and it looks like it is or it's pretty close.

http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/earthmarket/item/wh1001-13/

Twas thinking of getting the 660 whenever BIG restocked my size, but after putting on my imperial shearer's back on I think I don't mind a higher rise now. Torn between FC's 1108 and WH's 800/1001 now.

ALB, the 800's are a 50's inspired cut but are still a tad slimmer than the new 1001's (.5cm in a few places, leg opening included). In order of slimmest: 660's, 1108, 800, 1001

Can't go wrong with any of them, but 1108's are my next pair after I wear in my 1001's FWIW!

Haven't been on SuFu in a hot minute, but I just picked up some jeans that I think may be of interest to all the Warehouse fiends.

Tsugaru Jeans from a shop called Bravery in Hirosaki.  Made by Warehouse.  This pair has been one-washed.  The arcs are supposed to represent the Neputa festival floats, but I am going to pick them out to Levi's arcs.  That's about all I know, but if anyone can shed additional light on them (type of denim for example) I'd be interested to hear more.

Please excuse the crappy pics.  My apartment doesn't have the best lighting and it's dumping snow in NYC right now.

More detail on robotbox's Tsugaru jeans here: http://info.ware-house.co.jp/neputa.html

EDIT: I think this is the link to the blog of the Bravery shop that robotbox got them from: http://ameblo.jp/braverygo/

Thanks for the information guys!  I knew y'all would be able to find some details.  So from the WH site it looks like they are using 1001xx denim?

I don't believe Bravery has an online presence.  I got these thanks to a dude on reddit who is an American living in Japan.  He's pretty new to denim, but he stumbled across Bravery and posted some pics of these jeans in r/rawdenim.  I thought they looked good, and my 660's are on the verge of retirement, so I asked if he could be my proxy.  Thankfully it worked out and the jeans fit pretty nice.

I'll try to get some measurements and some fit pics up soon, though I may wait until I get them hemmed.  I wanna go with a single cuff
