Thanks for posting the lightning article. I think you meant wider waist and slightly narrower knee and leg opening on the 1001. The current 1001xx has the smaller waist and wider knee and leg opening.

a.khan, was the older 1001xx model just the 2012 model (red stitched on tab, "denim banner" denim and crooked pockets)?

Full honestly im not sure, the guy just pointed out old and new and i tried both. I thought he gave me the 1001 and then a 1001XX (2013) but now im not 100% sure.

Love the bandanna! I wish they'd photographed those two guys wearing the right size. Those are at least one size too big.

What's this thread doing on page 2?!

Just started wearing my Warrens today (purchased as one wash in 2009). I had them hemmed an inch and gave them another 30C machine wash and they're just right. They have the 1000XX oxidised denim, which is incredibly comfortable and definitely feels like it has some give to it. Does all Warehouse denim have this stretchy feeling? Anyway, I'm very happy with them.

On another note, I've been informed that my Lot 415s arrived from Japanholic this morning - they're essentially rebranded 700s, so I'm looking forward to unwrapping those when I get home. I only ordered them on Sunday night and they were detained briefly in Customs, so I'm very impressed with the shipping speed.

No more jeans for me, ever. No, I really mean it this time... ;)

EDIT:

Lot 415 raw measurements (BiG style):

- Size 32

- Waist 34

- Front rise 12

- Thigh 13

- Hem 9

- Inseam 35.75

These are exactly the same as BiGs raw Lot700 measurements for a size 32.

Congrats on the 415s, and glad to hear the inseam worked out good on the Warrens.

My experience with Warehouse denim is limited to the 1001XX (15th) and 1000XX used in the 700 and 800. They're very much alike in weight, feel, and how they wear, and have that slightly stretchy feeling. They will pretty easily give at the waist, especially while wet.

These are my WH 1000XX, the 2011 edition with a 6x6 weave. Probably at somewhere around 5 months of effective wear and 5-6 washes/soaks. First japanese jeans for me, can't see myself going back to anything else now... Sorry about the poor pictures, but the color and contrast is pretty accurate.

I like the fit, but they were actually at least one size too small from the beginning and I've gained some weight since then. The seams on two of the button holes have ripped because of the strain over the top block and the middle seam at the back is also starting to come apart. The denim has stretched a lot though, the waist has never been an issue.

Ok, decided to take some detail pics with a proper camera :) The iphone was better at capturing the real color though, they are not as bright in real life.

Last pic is of the teared back seam. Won't be wearing these til I get that fixed and lose some weight...

Like aho, I have 4 pairs of Warehouse (Warren x2, 1001XX 15th anniversary and now the 415), which I've collected over the last 4 years and I've just started wearing a pair of the Warrens.

I love the denim and the cut and am not sure how any of my pairs from other brands will get a look in now!
