Doesn't seem like there's much activity in this thread but I wanted to share my Greasers that I've had since summer 2018. These are the 15oz Xinjiang cotton black marias. They were incredibly slow faders, but I think they've got a lot of character now. Love the left hand twill, it's made these super velvety soft.

The crotch is mostly patches at this point. Also had to bring the waist in an inch. These have been my guinea pig for figuring out how to repair shit with my sewing machine. 

Love this brand though. Just bought a pair of Smokestacks in the 15oz crosshatch denim and I love the texture of them. Will post pictures of those when they get some fade.

edit: just noticed they released another run of these while i slept. fuck.

And over 13 years later a pair shows up on Ebay and I didn't even hesitate. 

These jeans have lived in my head for over a decade and now they are finally mine. 

I wish they were a little darker but this still feels like a miracle.

Seriously, a legendary piece of denim history. 

I've been looking for a pair ever since. 

Seen lots of speckled denim since but none quite nailed this. 

I'm pretty stoked. 

 

Also found the Left Field x Blueblack Greasers in the Collect Mills midnight denim in my size and those are gorgeous too.

"Sunflower" tweed Cone Mills just arrived. 

Barely fitting but my gods the fabric is stunning,  even though someone put these in a gd dryer at some point. 

I'm confident they will stretch out enough to get worn outside but even if they were too small I would be glad I found them.

Much better fit on the LF X Blueblack x collect Mills pair that just arrived. A bit loose in the waist but liking the fuller leg. These give me a little wiggle room for the holidays too, heh. 

 

Again the denim is just spectacular. 

The hidden rivets seem to have nipples and  quite low but the earlier tweed pair had flat hidden rivets flush with the bar tack. 

Will post detail shots of the denim tomorrow.

Similar top block but they hug my calves less than my greasers. Pocket openings feel smaller than my greasers.

Some detail shots of the Left Field NYC X  Blackblue collab jeans.  

 The denim is a 15 oz indigo warp, black weft from Collect Mills. No idea how many washes but they have definitely been in a washing machine, possibly a dryer too. 

Love the denim and the fit.

Garage Jacket in a salt & pepper fabric. I’ve had it for a number of years but haven’t put much wear on it. Putting it into regular rotation now.
