hinoya at ueno, just across the train station. stocks sugarcane, bs united, burgus, byemrt, warehouse, evisu, yen, skull, levi's.

another place will be americaya, there's one at shibuya, another one at ueno (i think). stocks denime, evisu, samurai, levi's. their website says that they carry d'artisan but i didnt see any when i was there.

there's evisu flagship store at ebisu, along the main street walking towards naka-meguro area (sorry for the hazy direction here).

at harajuku there's OT&Emotional, which stocks some canes, warehouse and iron hearts.

denime and dry bones flagship stores at daikanyama.

i read somewhere that there's a store called full nelson which seems to stock a good range of denims, but i didnt bother to look for the store. i think it's somewhere at shinagawa (someone correct me if i'm wrong).

re: hinoya, their website provides a map.

the easiest way to get to OT&E is to walk along the strip with realmadhectic, vault and haze until you reach a junction and walk towards the direction of headporter. OT&E is somewhere along that strip.

it's kinda hard to describe where americaya @ shibuya is actually located. shibuya hachiko exit-> cross the street in the direction of a big building with a coffee shop (either starbucks or excelsior, i cant remember), from there take the left fork. americaya is somewhere in that area.

i didnt go to px megastore, so i cant help you much

It's part of the Ameyoko street market -- you cannot really miss it if you walk out from Ueno station Shinobazu exit. Just cross the road and head down the street that has a curved arch over it saying Ame Yoko. It's an interesting area (although not considered a 'hip' part of Tokyo) -- used to be a black market after the war and still has a bit of that feel about it.

Despite the hype, PRPS is not a Japanese brand. It's a US/UK company which has their jeans run up for them in Japan --- hence 'made in Japan' but not Japanese, if you see what I mean. You would be hard-pressed to find a pair anywhere in Tokyo (except maybe as a curious kind of 'reverse import').

And no.. I meant Hinoya is in the Ameyoko. Don't know where px megastore is, sorry.

I remember last summer Ships Musuem is Shibuya was carrying PRPS for a hot minute. Now, I believe they stock Notify. You might want to check out the hip hop stores around Shibuya if you really want PRPS from Japan.

I'll be in Tokyo this friday for work. I might just be confined to places near my hotel & office which are both in the Shiodome Site. Would anyone know a store near this place that'll carry premium denim brands? Which 45rpm store is nearest?

some store (like the shinjuku takashimaya one for exemple) only have girls clothes. 45rpm are a bit out of my budget range so i haven't visited to many stores and cannot say for sure, maybe someone else can help about that. i found another one that was closer [url=" http://www.45rpm.jp/shop/detail.jsp?id=ginza"] <a href="http://www.45rpm.jp/shop/detail.jsp?id=ginza" target="_blank">http://www.45rpm.jp/shop/detail.jsp?id=ginza</a> you could probably walk from shiodome, like 5 to 10 min and should be bigger than the one at Tokyo Station

Quote: well, dunno abt the dartisans, but theres this store in ikebukuro which sells second hand vintage jeans for like 35USD, which i think is a really good deal.

you'd prob be able to find more or less anything you want along ueno at the ameyoko mkt.

Thanks man, I'm planning to stay in the Ueno area, hopefully I'll find the stores while getting lost.

going to echo vinz's question about places that stock eternals in tokyo. any ideas? they seem to be harder to come along than the SD and sugarcanes (i almost typed supercanes, haha).

also, the 811s do retail at stated 18,690 yen? any taxes etc on top of that?
