Blur to Reunite - This time for real!

So, despite being vague in every single interview since rumors started about the reunion, Blur have just confirmed that they are in fact rehearsing and will play their first show together, replete with original lineup, in July of 2009.

I, for one, am pumped and would love to go. Blur are one of my favorite bands of all time, and since there are no tour plans in the works, I wouldn't pass them up.. too bad the concert is in another country x.x

i think they are only getting back together until they get another nardwaur interveiw because the only goal as an artist that damon hasnt satisfied is to wedgie the human serviette.

i saw them once in, um... 1997 (?) and they were fucking bouncing off the walls. awesome, awesome show, damon climbing on the speakers, and hanging from rafters, graham in some strange inverted yoga posture playing the guitar behind his knees, and alex james throwing a cigarette into his mouth as he first walked onstage... and yeah, the drummer was... ginger.
