agreed. The fading process is pretty similar with the denim but the end result is much different. I think a lot of it has to do with the variance in fit. Also, the eternals seem to retain a lot more indigo than my flatheads ever did

I just picked up a pair of 811's and all I can say is that I'm glad I sized down They are abit snug in the waist after the soak but will stretch abit and fit perfect. I was going to hem them as pictured. Think this works or should I let it out another inch or so?

that looks like a good fit, don't know how they look unhemmed but you seem to already have made your choice, i think you should let out 1-2 inches. Then you'll get enough stacking and you can have them turned up if you want
