I'm also going to add to the confusion with the sizing. I haven't gotten a new pair of denim in a while and I pulled the trigger on some 811s

I wear a 34 in SD103s (could probably get away with 33s since I lost a bit of weight) but I'm a 33 with my Eternals. I was able to wiggle into a pair of 32s, but I couldn't get them buttoned all the way to the top. They also creeped up a tad into my ass, so my accompanying ladyfriend give me weird looks when I told her that I was thinking of grabbing them. The BiG staff told me they didn't stretch that much, so I lost my nerve and got the 33s.

The 33s have definitely stretched slightly, but they fit pretty awesome. I don't have that hip flare happening that's been mentioned, but then again, I have big cyclist thighs. I'm still wondering if I could have gotten away with the 32s only because the legs feel roomy to me (in comparison to my other jeans)

I'm not understanding something. Is hip flare exaggerated by downsizing or upsizing? I normally wear 31s and bought a 31 (which is very tight but it will stretch out okay) and then I get the super flared hips. I hot soaked them last night, hopefully that will fix some of it because I only warmed soaked briefly before. I'll try to take fit pics.

:/ hip flares... well from my understanding most eternals have a pre soak so you just buy what fits on the spot. the guys @ big helpd me out.. i explaind to themn i have mad big quadriceps and i really wantd to eliminate the disproportion in my jeans so i ended up sizing up.. 36 (33 on somet 08s) .. the 811s probably my favorite pair of jeans to date. keeps me warm in the winter and doesnt get too hot in the heat.

i think ur hip flare shld go away as they strech out, however if u did buy the wrong sz the areas that dinomght pointd could attribute to a hip flare.. but give it sometime..

is it still possible to get the 811s with tabs? cause i heard a few stores have some japanese denim in stock with arcs and tabs. or better yet, ARE THERE ANY THAT'S SIZE 27-28??? every 811s i saw on stock are size 30+..

Anyone here gotten Eternals raw? I assume they start at 36" or so?

I want to wash them myself to keep the length... (I have to size up like crazy to get into them to begin with... like I did with my Sufu660's)

My raw eternal 872's started out with a 34" inseam. The inseam shrunk to a 32" which is weird because they are suposed to be sanforized and aren't supposed to have much shrinkage.

811's have more room in the ass but are slightly tighter in the waist compared to 5010's. If the 29's are tight in the 5010 I wouldnt go smaller than 30 in 811.

Im a 29 in a fitted RRDS and a 30 in PBJ 007 (fitted but not tight).

For these, I want a fit kinda like headtowall's..I was gonna go with a 31...does that sound about right?

For reference, I have a size 30 PBJ 005 which is a little too tight in the thighs. My 811s are size 33.

What's worrying me now is the inseam, according to vari's measurements, they are 32.7" long...I mean I'd like at least a little bit of stacking.

im a 33 in somet08 and a 36 in eternals, they really comfy and just perfect on the waist a little slack. my vanity size is a 34 so a sz up or 2 depending if u want it tighter or not.
