Ande Whall Denim

Agreed, they look great. Did you give them a chainstitch hem? You should crosspost your jacket here too.

Thanks Maynard! Yes,  chainstitched the hem. I have a union special 43200g in the basement! Don't get much use for it these days as a few of the denim shops in London have them now, but back in the day I was I think the first to have one in the UK.

Here's the jacket

Haha, you chainstitched a pair of my Edwin's years ago - for free - as part of your introductory offer to Sufu'ers and did a fine job indeed! I'd definitely use your service again if you were in London.

Hey guys, nah not coming back, I was just getting nostalgic for denim the other day so thought I would read some superdenim.

The art world is a pretty tough old game as well, good fun though.

Are you still wearing your own jeans Andy? Do you have a few pairs put away for the future?

My SR7s are pretty much retired now, following a couple of crotch repairs, a split whisker and holy knees (from too much praying). I’ve been sporting my solid blacks a little more - I was trying to keep them for a smarter casual look (whatever that is) but they are fast faders so I just wear them whenever I like now. I’ll snap a few daguerreotypes of them when the light improves.

Ande has a new website selling his artwork on t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, backpacks, etc or even neat if you prefer it that way.

Konmarie just reminded me I still have a pair of Grifters, from special run in 2007 of 14 pairs only. If anyone is interested in them we could have a talk, size 33.

This thread needs some action!

A few (overcast iPhone 8) shots of my SR10s after 4-5 summers of wear. Pocket bags need repairing.
