ColonelAngus 276 Posted October 10, 2017 26 minutes ago, Broark said: I really should've bought a pair of black jeans from Ande before he shut things down. Looked all over and I can't seem to find the right pair of me. Same here. I regret not getting any denim from him while I had the chance. Now all I ever see on ebay is people trying to sell their filthy, used and abused AW's for a premium. Lol
pudaspriest 3,998 Posted October 10, 2017 Fit pic of the jeans.
Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted October 10, 2017 They look great from what I can see pudas. I wish I'd been able to get a pair with shovelhead pockets...
Tapori 87 Posted October 12, 2017 Two Caribou's waiting patiently in the queue. 15.3oz pink-line selvedge & SR12's.
Tapori 87 Posted October 12, 2017 (edited) 2.5 year old Standies coming along quite nicely. Maybe x 15 washes. Edited October 12, 2017 by Tapori
Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted October 28, 2017 SR7s worn since May '14, freshly washed and awaiting new crotch and pocket repairs, probably for the final time before they're retired.
Geeman 1,988 Posted October 28, 2017 I feel genuine pain over not copping a pair of Ande's.
Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted November 6, 2017 Apologies for the photo dump but took some better shots (still iPhone) away from direct sunlight.

MJF9 2,500 Posted March 4, 2018 (edited) Nostalgic shots of my old Caribou 14.1 oz natural indigo from Ande's collaboration with Wakefield Hotel back in 2012. I'm keeping the Caribous. However the hardly worn Grizzly below is reluctantly up for grabs (on the usual trading venue) as I haven't and won't be able to put in the effort to get it to the stellar faded level of Ande's own (gratuitously below). It deserves a proper owner - any of the Sufu family interested, DM me and I'll sort something out. Also got some pre-quake Miners on there as they are just too big now. Apologies for the plugs but I enjoyed Ande's work and future progress pics on here would be the next best thing... Edited March 4, 2018 by MJF9
Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted March 12, 2018 I’d keep that jacket if I were you, I’m sure it’ll be a regret in the future. Not trying to tell you what to do with your own stuff though!
MJF9 2,500 Posted March 12, 2018 Eh mate you can buy it off me if you like and then you'll be able to do what you want with my stuff !! Joking aside, you make a good point and I'm 50:50. It's such a well made jacket with a great fit. I bought it in 2013 then went to live in the desert so it was never worn. I got back and have bought Mister Freedom and Samurai jackets so it's got stuck in a queue and it deserves some love!
Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted March 12, 2018 Too big for me, otherwise I’d be tempted. Still, if you keep it long enough just think how cool it’ll be wearing that Grizzly on a motability scooter in Eastbourne - a beautiful dark indigo in a sea of pale blue rinses!
MJF9 2,500 Posted March 12, 2018 Ha ha yes what an inspiring vision of retirement utopia in the south. Must work hard to avoid rocking the Grizzly in a zimmer frame on a deserted promenade in the austerity ravaged north! Just about to reject an offer on Grailed... your pep talks are working :).
MJF9 2,500 Posted March 13, 2018 @Maynard Friedman so just as the vision of dark indigo in a sea of blue rinses was bringing me round to the idea of keeping the Grizzly (and whilst I was distracted faffing with my new boots), a bid comes in matching the asking price plus shipping and it was auto-sold!! Grailed efficiency meets novice seller. The blue rinses in New Jersey have something to look forward to now...
Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted March 14, 2018 New Jersey, eh? Sounds like someone made you an offer you couldn’t refuse!
MJF9 2,500 Posted March 17, 2018 A bit of a spamming going on - forgive me, it's a lazy day inside whilst it alternates between snow, sleet and rain outside... Pre-quake Miners from around 2010... IIRC Ande called these his premium Okayama denim with quirky features like rope lined belt loops and blue lassoo hem - very nice. They are now on a flight to San Francisco... without me... farewell old friend, thanks for the memories!!! I'm now braced to receive some advice
pudaspriest 3,998 Posted May 31, 2018 CARIBOU 13OZ from his last run of jeans. Been rotating jeans a lot more this last year but this has been my main go to. Have worn these perhaps 6-7 months in total with 3 washes so far. Slow fading pair compared to what I am used to but they are starting to come along nicely now.

Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted August 31, 2018 Both those pairs above have had another wash now. Anyone else from Sufu other than @pudaspriestpick up one of the final pairs? If so, don’t be shy, show us what you got.
Mild7 37 Posted September 1, 2018 Yeah Maynard, I did.. CARIBOU 13.5OZ. INDIGO WING'S + FLY RIVET + SELVAGE FLY RIVET. Havent started on them yet. Probably will in the next 6 months or so.
Maynard Friedman 565,175 Posted September 1, 2018 Cheers Mild. What’s a selvage fly rivet?
Mild7 37 Posted September 1, 2018 Yeah oops, that would be selvage overkill. Just a Fly Rivet
The Clerk 457,853 Posted September 5, 2018 Update on my Mustangs. Up to now these have only had a soak and then a hand wash, however after a few camping trips and some rolling around bu the fire over the summer they are ready for an actual machine wash! Only a delicates wash on 30 but was still a little nervous. Before and after pics. Oh and these are the same denim as Andi was making his jackets from
MJF9 2,500 Posted September 5, 2018 Looking great @The Clerk... always good to see some faded Ande's out there. The denim is sanforised so you should be ok with your wash. Would be good to see the 'after' pics.
The Clerk 457,853 Posted September 5, 2018 @MJF9 those are before and after pics! They haven't changed much as was only a very mild wash. Though in the flesh the fades are brighter. They look a lot less green and grubby. And they don't smell of sweat and smoke!
