"so far away...we wait for the da-y-yay, of the lives oh so wasted in blood,

we feel the pain of lifetimes lost in a thousand days...like fire in the flames we carry on!"

long live cheesy synth metal! cheesy lyrics, but sick solos indeed

Dragonforce is some good stuff, I haven't listened to any of their music in a while. This discussion has got me in the mood to break some out again.

I'll have to go through my music collection and see which albums I have from them.

And for songs ..

Nas - Halftime

The Clash - Guns of Brixton

the smiths - heaven knows im miserable now

and a song called "geared up" by Brundtland & Pehrson on Annie's DJ kicks album. I can't find my cd and only place I've found the song is on his myspace. His name is Pehrson. That song is simply AMAZING!

Brundtland is the blonde guy in röyksopp by the way.

the ballad of grimaldi- pete doherty

the lines "now while theres still a fighting chance, why dont you just get up and go. and get away from this hollow romance thats slowly binding us both. because youll tell me what you want and ill avoid it. tell it to the sick and to the damned. show me what you love, whatch me destroy it, for your love just crumbles in my hands"......... kind hit close to home.
