What other FW moleskin did/do you have?

I had the Morgan sack coat and trousers as well as a pair of the Avedon trousers.

I was thinking of getting a size 40 but based on Dude going for the 38, I think it will be too big.

Fit update of my new OA02. I will hem them in the near future to a proper length so I don't have to double cuff them.

Great fit b_F, pretty much how I like my jeans to fit these days as well. Comfy, but not messy looking.

I see you got the 997's. How do you like them BF?

I like them quite a lot. Thanks for the inspiration. Just the laces could be nicer

Could be wrong but I think they're the same pair, just raw vs washed.

yes, guys, they're the same jeans. W35 L36, 02-0619. Most of my jeans are in W34, but i'm losing weight slowly. In short, it was possible to swing at the W34, I expected more shrinkage.

Guys, is that zinc oxidation when shrinking is normal? I didn't add any powder. :D

Interesting, never had that happen on my pairs. Could have to do with your water locally?

Regret passing on those, they were a bit too wild for me at the time but now I’d love a pair.

@DeafKate The OA02XX are from 2014, not many wears. The top block is considerable looser on the 36, so much that I don't wear them. The thighs are also on the looser side, the leg opening is the same.

^  b_F, we used to be the same size, but now you are trim and buff, as I move in the other direction.  36 is perfect for me, as you know.  Glad the 35 is working out for you.

A few more shots of this jacket. I forgot to take some shots of it buttoned up last time. I really love this piece.

Cossack jacket in horsehide. They ran it last year as well.

Very different cossack than the moleskin jackets then, as those have hand warmers...

Edit: Doh, silly me, they're here: https://standardandstrange.com/collections/ooe-yofukuten/products/pre-order-for-may-2020-delivery-cossack-style-horsehide-leather-windbreaker

That's really the only design difference.
More details on S&S's website: https://standardandstrange.com/collections/ooe-yofukuten-cossack-jacket-pre-orders/products/pre-order-for-may-2020-delivery-cossack-style-horsehide-leather-windbreaker
I can't justify a purchase like this right now, but it's a nice looking jacket.

@Kit Carruthers I had them hemmed pre-wash by S&S to 36 in., they've since shrunk to 33 in.
I haven't thrown these in the dryer yet and they've only been washed a couple of time, but I suspect that the inseam shrinkage is mostly taken care of.
