Getting a 28 would be good for these. I'm a true waist 29 and opted for a 28 to account for stretching.

I posted 33 thinking the rise is medium to high so my fat thighs can get into these. Might go down to 32 once the actual measurements are posted.

but i could be wrong. just in case, here's the sizing info that was already given

The jeans will be +1" above tagged size and will shrink .75" after a wash and dry, so essentially they'll end up true to size.
