Hey @kiya, any details of the new Imperials? Will there be sizes bigger than the usual tagged 34s? We talking early or late '23?

We're aiming for a spring 2023 release and there'll be two fits. The slim one will go up to 36 and the straight leg classic fit one will go up to 38.

Hoping the slim one is like a shearer cut. 

Glad we have two options, though; been loving the more roomy fits nowadays.

What colors will these guys be?  Just the standard indigo warp x white/grey/beige weft?

They'll be 14oz, Texas cotton fiber, unsanforized but very lightly rinsed, indigoXnatural.

Natural as in both the weft and warp will be dyed with natural indigo?

it's interesting they decided to come back after so many years of radio silence, even moreso since kiya seems to suggest there will just be one (final) release and no future plans. i remember trying on a pair of shearers over a decade ago now.

I'd imagine it means a natural color for the weft, like ecru, which is the natural hue of cotton. Off white. A lighter shade of beige. That sort of thing...

This is perfect timing. Heading back to Oz for a couple of weeks and putting this on the list since it's close to my hometown.

There are some killer deals on some Imperial stuff on Grailed.

$72 (shipping included) for a pair of deadstock SExI14 Indigos in size 27.

Mostly smaller sizes though.

I have lived in Brisbane all my life and struggled to get my 2 pairs of Imperials. Looks like they are on EAT street now tho.

This is my first denim.  10 years imperial duke. Still wearable and i did some sashiko to my jeans from instagram @blcoo__ the fabric is too old now. It ripped easily everytime i wear them. Luckily my body is not getting any bigger since 10 years so i can still wear them.
