Maryland/DC shopping

Recommended Posts

Hey gang,

I did a search but couldn't find any posts addressing this subject directly. I was wondering what some good spots are in Maryland and around DC. :D:D:D:eek::confused:

It would help if you mentioned what style you're looking for.

Alright then, NO mall chains. No urban outfitters. Contemporary designers and no focus on italian jeans and popped collars.

There is none, unless you want faggy streetwear bullshit. Even the Barneys stock is painfully out of date.

There is NOTHING in this whole fucking region. We have denimbar in bethesda and that's about it.

For The Greater Good just opened this past Saturday. It meets criteria for the style of clothing I believe you are looking for.

I went to denimbar once, and there was like a line reaching to the doorway to use the changing rooms or something, and they were all wearing flared out true religions, no thanks.

www.boltbus.com to NYC. if you book enough in advance a round trip ticket can be as cheap as $16. crash on a friend's couch for a night, skip a meal, and shit on your friends' wardrobes.

on a serious note though. i grew up in maryland, and yes, essentially everything has been mentioned before. except for thrift/consignment stores- anybody know some good ones?

redeem has a small selection, i'm not really into any of the brands they carry besides a few. wrath/b.son/shades i'd recommend checking out the greater good if you're gonna be in the area of redeem as well, it's within walking distance.

FYI:

A fellow just came into my work, and dropped off a flyer for a new shop called Cult at 817 N. Charles street. Supposed to be pretty good.
