Brand new pair of The Flat Head F380 jeans, tag-size 32, purchased from Self Edge:

They have been hot-soaked for a few hours and hung dry. Chain-stitched hem, inseam measures 31.6 inch post-soak.

BiG style measurements (flat measurements, not doubled)

Waist 32

Front Rise 10.9

Back Rise 14.6

Thigh 12.4

Inseam 31.6

Knee 9.2

Opening 8.5

Never worn, absolutely brand new apart from the hem and hot-soak. Only selling because they are a little too loose on me post-soak and I am looking to buy the same model a size smaller.

Alright... another price drop... after you figure about US$20 for postage these are now less than half retail price from Self-Edge! This is about as low as I can go, and a damn good price for a brand new pair of Flat Heads...

How did the hem go from 8.7" (on SelfEdge) to 8.2"? You even hemmed them, they should be bigger no? :confused:

Sorry, didn't even see that. It should be 8.5; typo.

Shouldn't be bigger because the leg is straight cut and Flat Head raws shrink quite a bit... Even after hem I would still expect it to be smaller...

I just double-checked all the measurements. All correct now. Everyone can find the prewash measurements on a few different Rakuten sites, or Self-Edge.

Do you think the inseam would shrink more after a few washes?

Highly doubt it man... These were soaked hot and hung dry. I highly doubt they will shrink anymore. Like all good quality denim, they lost very little indigo even to a really hot soak, and I imagine they have done all the shrinking they will do. (Unless you were to tumble-dry them or something else equally cirminal).

I'm curious how much you hemmed off. I'm looking to buy the same jeans in a totally different waist size.

I know it shrinks about 3" off the inseam, so did you take off like 3"?

In my experience (2 pairs of FHs, not including this one) you'll be lucky to get a 3" shrink. More like 2.5".

These were hemmed to a 34" inseam before the soak...
