Here are my all time personal fav's - (not necessarily based on durability)

Jordan 1's

Converse weapons

Vans Old School Hi's

Etnies Lo Cut (when they first appeared they were the shit)

Suede Half Cab's

Tops today -

Lakai Kingston (thin tongue, clean design)

Lakai MJ3 (thin tongue, clean design)

DVS Daewon 8 (ninja shoe)

All of the above in all black/Nubuck. No disco stripes thanks.

Cobbnobblers. Haven't thought about them in years, but I fucking loved those shoes when they were out. I must have gone through three or four pairs, and I'm pretty sure I went without food to buy at least one of those.

Totally agree on the Sal 23s. Probably the shoe that got me 'into' sneakers. Before that anything that did the job and didn't look like shit was fine...afterwards only certain shoes cut it anymore.

In company order

Axion Islanders (Iannucci)

DC Rudy 2 (the big DC on the heel, the DC team jerseys and the first Euro Super Tour went hand in hand in hand)

Emerica Uno (my first skate shoes)

eS Koston 1 (navy/gum or black/gum from the very first release)

eS Muska (stash pocket in tongue)

2 more, cos 5 simply isn't enough

Duffs Markovich (for the Circle K logo and another sponspor tattoo)

eS SLB (for the inner sock and for being so different to Sal 23s)

Sal 23 : a classic

Es SLB : i owned like 3 pairs of those, wish they could retro them like the 23

Es Koston 1 : in my opinion, these shoes really changed how skate shoe looked

Airwalk 540 : my first pair... seen those in Japan like 4 years ago and sleeped on them, cannot find them now......

DC Colin McKay 3 : i think it's the 3, the hi-top one, had this shoe in every color that came out

althought i've never skated in them, i'll give the dunk sb a special mention

Actually they were the shoe of choice for me for a while there. They are actually really good in terms of actually being able to feel your board. However the do tend to fall apart pretty damn quickly though...
