Seattle Meetup (Pt. II)

Recommended Posts

If anyone wants to hang out with us, we'll be here until monday. Dum will be coming on Monday so a 'meetup' on that day with a bunch of people would be pretty cool.

We're staying with Tyler, and he's going to take us to work soon. And then our afternoon is free - if it's muggy and starts to rain can our back up plan be 'shopping?'. :)

Okay I just talked to Dum - he's going to get into town around 1pm and we're going to go gallivanting around downtown. If anyone wants to hang out with us, you're welcome to.

Then we can maybe plan a tentative meet-up for 4 or 5pm in a downtown location. First of all, are people still working then? And where is a good place downtown to 'meet'?

Parking garages downtown are expensive. I suggest you park on Cap Hill and walk down. You should be able to find street parking along the Denny Way & (Summit, Boylston, Harvard) area.

And yes, I work til 5 or 6ish.

We actually might have to leave at around six...but it depends if it's raining heavily or not, since we're driving for awhile.

I'll come and check this thread sometime in the next few hours and post an update if we make any definite plans.

Timber - come back to Canada quick before the Americans slap a softwood lumber levy on you.

timber, neither the rain or the dark will hinder my driving home. I'm more concerned with crazy traffic from people getting off work around 5-6.

I'm at the airport waiting to fly into Seattle for a few days. If you see a guy in flatheads with the wallet fade on the left walking around with a short, overweight asian dude, holla @ me.

I just checked Amtrak and it'd cost you about $184.00 for a round trip. There's probably some deal though..

Isn't there a real cheap flight from SF to Seattle? Someone was telling me...
