I had a friend who freaked out when I showed up at school one day wearing a Joy Division shirt. He had seen some shitty, overpriced bastardization of the design and assumed it was some extremely hard to get design by this shitty clothing company. Then I told him who Joy Division were. He must have felt like an idiot. I'm pretty sure he didn't. Smug little douchebag.

Hope so. It's even trickled into upstart bands here in the cities. I'm okay with vocal homages like those of Ian Astbury or Paul Banks...but when things start to sound like a tribute band...wtf.
