Alright so the brindle room burger is legit. You heard it here. Got it with blue cheese and sauteed onions. 12 bucks for that and pretty ill fries. Too much for me to finish (all the fries I mean).

Blue 9 doesn't taste like garbage by any means still. My Roomie just ordered that and the other got lucky burger (anyone?) earlier today. Burger Thursday's!

And I've had a few friends say that about me having a blog but I feel like now that every blowhard and his grammas got a blog nowadays who really cares what the fuck a shmuck like me (and all them) has to say? Essentially... I prolly wouldn't even find the time to read my blog. (but I don't find the time for anyone elses for that matter so maybe I'm reverse biased?)

i would read it dawg. im so uninformed when it comes to nyc street food joints. i mean any jackass can look at some restaurant guide and hit up a fancy, up-scale joint with X number of stars, rave reviews, etc. but i think street food knowledge, if you can call it that, is something much more intimate and experiential i guess? and besides, i love food porn.

brindle room burger is so legit, especially for only $12. the dry aged beef is what's up. i think it's got potential as a regular spot.

+1. I'll be in LES. What's good for burgers? Help me out trev! otherwise I'm hitting Popeyes.

try mikeys on ludlow. its pretty decent. i like their fries and they have a peculiar mayo sauce as well.

/\ +90000

i've hit up almost every cheap chinatown joint.

it's time to upgrade.

lol i eat at vanessas just about everyday. never get tired of it, always delicious!

I like where this thread is headed lately.

What, I can't have two burgers in 4 days?!?

I had two burgers in one day yesterday :/

After spoona mentioned trying veselka it peaked my interest just enough to give the place another shot seeing as the bar next door has practically been my second home the past year. So i got the burger and It wasn't BAD I guess but didn't seem to wow me any/have enough flavor for my weathered taste buds. Toppings weren't anything special, plus it was grilled and iunno, guess i have a slight aversion to grilled burger taste from growing up in Florida and eating more bland, dry backyard grilled burgers than I care to count over the years. Come to think of it I don't really prefer any of my meats to be grilled. Steak especially, I won't touch it.

You can buy like 100 frozen dumplings there for 30 bucks or something save yourself the trip already!

Wild, Lando, 169 bar TONIGHT, pork dumplings there to hold you over

Well you don't have to drink the whole bar this time! But alright shout if so

*I should probably go put on a pot of coffee and twist up some smokes and work on trying to get this brick of red meat out of me first though

went to brindle room sunday. burger was great. First dry-aged prime rib burger I've had and I can understand the hype. Bun was burnt though, and that was kinda unpleasant.

RUB's monday burgers are still my favorite though. Crust on that thing is unbelievable. Special burgers are usually pretty fun also.

smashed > pub style > grilled in terms of burger preference.

smashed > pub style > grilled in terms of burger preference.

This is it. Although, I love grilled burgers as part of the whole package (backyard summer parties, ice cold coronas or other shitty beer that's so cold it hurts your hand, huge costco bags of sour cream and onion ruffles, beezies in sundresses).

A grilled burger at a restaurant, no thanks.
