Quick fit pic, managed to get this before it started pouring down. Will hopefully get some better pics up this weekend and some more detail shots. Really love the jacket but the body and sleeve length still feel short. I may try rocking it for a little bit before I decide if I should keep it/sell it.

Do you still own this jacket? Asking because this year's release is in gold and it looks lo-ve-ly!

I think those 1946s are basically a US-made version of the limited edition Junky collab pair that SC made (in Japan) a few years back, which 00 Soul has. They’re based on a Levi’s pair from 1946 with loose threads, wonky stitching, etc. I’m not sure if each pair will be unique or all will have the same irregularities.

The SC x Junky 46's i have are from 2018, they only made 100 pairs, the denim was loomed especially for that run of 100. The jeans are modeled after a deadstock pair of 46's belonging to Mr. Ryoichi Kobayashi from the Toyo archives.

On display here at the Junky exhibition where the 100 pairs of SC-46's first went on sale.

There's an article about the exhibition here courtesy of Clutch Magazine

..and articles here about the jeans and here about the 1946 jacket which i also own, ive posted about both back in the thread..

Here are the 100 pairs from the exhibition and as you can see each pair is one of a kind

The only thing i find slightly annoying is  "every detail"  although we know that 46 models do have wonky stitching and loose threads, the deadstock pair which they are modeled after don't (or less so) so rather than 'perfect repro' we all got a slight exaggeration, other than that i'm more than happy with both jacket and jeans.

This is the specially produced “1946 model.” Every detail, from the button and rivets were completely reproduced based on the stunning dead stock jeans from 1946. With different buttons and rivets incorporated throughout the jeans, each pair of jeans is a complete “one-of-a-kind” model.

Edit: the jacket and jeans are on SC's website, no size 46 in the jacket. -_-

The runoff details seem even more extreme than the JS pair 00 and I have...

Anyone else having trouble sizing the new 46's? They seem pretty narrow.

I wear a 33 in the 47's (my regular size is 32).

The model at Hinoya's shop is wearing a 34 for the 46's, and he wears a 33 in the 47's.

These are so cool. I love little small run, highly specific things like this. Would love to dive into your denim archives man.

Just won these on Yahoo for ¥7000, brand new with tags with broken arcs and tabs. I don't think these are technically M series so I thought I'd post them here.
More photos to come once I receive them, been wanting some persimmon dyed jeans for awhile now. Finally found a pair that's the right price and condition.

Those are rare find these days.  We carried those at Self Edge when we first opened in 2006, they're a fun alternative to indigo denim.

Just won a pair of Hawaii’s in one wash for €40 on Swedish ebay. They’re a W32 which usually is a tad big a waist size for me. Does anyone have any idea if they’ll shrink more with subsequent washing?

Good find, Austin. For the first while I thought those weren't going to fade much at all, but if you put in the work they'll start to lighten up in pretty similar patterns to indigo denim eventually. Meanwhile, they don't shrink or stretch much and they never stop being stiff / crinkly / rigid.
