Two questions. Does anyone have ITC Garamond Light? Need it for a newsletter redesign I'm working on.

And ... my friend is working on an invitation and wanted to use the font in the Yankees logo. Anyone know where to get fonts originally from sports teams?

email me at jimmycrow at me.com and I'll send you the whole garamond family.

As far as the yankee logo goes (and most sports logos) it's hand lettered. Most old sports logos are. I would say just goggle it because some people like to make fonts from old logos. The Red Sox logo has been made into a font but it's awful.

:)

is there anything stopping me from simply copying legally acquired typefaces from a friend's laptop and dumping them on mine?

edit: other than moral obligations.

no! do it home. or just download the torrent of all the major fonts.

I've been looking for a good freeware/public domain version of the "Baby Teeth" type font for some time now. If anyone has seen one that doesn't fill in gaps in the letters at smaller sizes, I'd love to hear about it. (I'd be willing to pay for a shareware version if it were good enough).

Personally, I'm an "anything but Arial/Times New Roman" sort of guy when it comes to fonts. Not a huge fan of Calibri either. I usually use Palatino for regular correspondence simply because it's different.
