About 10 months of wear

Just washed them but I guess my washing machine didn't do a very good job.

And a repair I had to make early on to prevent any misfortunes.

It's been holding since 6 months.

Thinking about getting some Red-D's and turning these into strictly work jeans. =)

I have a hard time choosing between the s0500 and s0710.. Can anyone confirm Knugget's thoughts about the flimsy/pansyness of the denim of the 0500?

Oh no. It was only my denim that feels flimsy, and I did pick it up off the supermarket and so I had some concerns of a fake, which would be why I asked the questions. Anyhow the 2488 is in Hong Kong dollars.

Nah it depends on the size, it's how it is on all pairs of jeans. Make sense, with the different rises and such depending on the size.

At least I know this is true on all APC's and Samurai S710xx's

my 500's just got their second soak today. Not intentional. I was adventuring in the woods with some friends while attempting to cross a stream via a fallen tree (hurricane just came through). I was almost across when the trunk of the tree snapped and i fell into some cold swampy water.

I've looked on the main page quite a bit and on BIG (where I plan on purchasing from). I'm currently looking at a few pairs and am hoping people here can help me choose between them.

I'm 5'10-5'11, 165-170 lbs. 33 1/2" waist (where I technically wear my jeans). I lift weights and have pretty big thighs (22"-22 1/2" in the biggest part). I'm not the typical super skinny dude. I'm muscular and athletic (not crazy huge though).

I want something that will fit my body right. I don't want super skinny AT ALL but I'd like a slim fit. Nothing baggy. Any help is appreciated.

the regular 710's are a nice slim jean with a mid rise. The thighs offer plenty of room, in my opinion, as well.
