Samurai Jeans

Yeah; the grass is greener very probably. Thanks for replying anyway. I like my jeans real tight, and whenever there's too much of a paunch abvove the beltline, it ain't a pretty picture.

Let's hope we can both cope with our respective situations successfully!

Beautiful_Freak, those fakes look real to me. Of course,

I don't have a keen denim eye like you do. A very real lesson

to learn in life, across all walks -- There is no such thing as

a free lunch !

nate1492 your Samurai 710s are the best advertisement

for Sams I've ever seen. They fit you splendidly and the wear

tapestry is incredible. Now I want a pair of Sam 710 but somehow

I doubt that they'll look as good on me as they look on you !

^ i would say the most obvious things that give them away as fake to me are the fit (it looks very strange, super tapered) the plain white cloth pocket bags, the sloppy craftsmanship, and the denim itself. It may just be my eyes but it also looks like the thread is different too. What else am i missing?

honestly this is blowing my mind, i had no idea that fake samurai's existed.

also what is Kaskus? It looks like just forum community to me, is there more to it than that? I searched samurai on there and found a listing i think those pictures are from (although there were only 2 pictures in the listing). The title said "samurai jeans replica". So these were being sold as fakes?

the belt loops are off...look a bit like Nudie ones, to wide

And the biggest mistake: a tagged length of 33"

I have to admit they did good work on the buttons, rivets (as far as you can see), the flasher, tags, crafmanship on these is better than on the other fakes I saw on kaskus.
