yes indeed it has been out for 2 years now, I bought it soon after it came out, this has 010/100 numbering on the leather patch,

but I supposed it is reproduced after the first 100 pairs, I'm quite sure that there are a lot of nice pair out there, they just dont post it here

Finally got my Samurai S510xx 21oz from Drew. What a swell fella Drew is and after a hot wash/dry, these are PERFECT -- but I do need the length altered. My only regret is....WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG TO DISCOVER SAMURAI ?? These jeans feel indestructible and formidable in a manner that I personally haven't seen before. Glad I went with a Sz 31 -- post shrink a 30 would have been too snug for my liking.

Got a pair of Lot 12 0500XX, were these made undersized? tagged 32w measured 32.5" raw

IMO that's a pretty normal measurement for Lot.12

I think my size 34 also measured just 0,5" bigger than tag

The pair I had early last year must have been Lot 13, do you know if those ARE around 2" bigger than tagged

I never encountered any Samurai to be 2" bigger than tagged as BiG claims for Lot.14.

I heard that S5000VX from 5 years ago or so were 2" bigger.

So 1" bigger is the max amount I saw till now.

But they will stretch out past their raw measurements if needed

about the stretching: that's just my experience, yes they shrink but they will also stretch back

My Lot 10 measured tag size when raw, which was my actual waist size. After a hot soak they were pretty tight (read too small) in the waist but stretched out with no problem.

Now, with my actual waist 1-2" bigger, they are still comfortable in the waist.
