Samurai Jeans

Hard to tell but looks like there are either no arcs, or dark arcs like on s710 19oz, which I am really happy about. I generally don't like any kind of contrast stitching for pocket arcs, except the classic levi's ones.

I unfortunately just used up all my denimio points on a pair of s710NBK, otherwise I would have waited for these to come around on sale.

Thinking to pre-order S003JP YAMATO in Denimio, but hesitate which size to order. I am in 0710 19oz W34 and 0511xx also W34 and both sits really well. But due to the lower rise of s003jp think that W34 would be too much tight. I haven't any idea about shrinking/stretching of Yamato denim. Can anyone advise ?

I would appreciate any and all info on samurai s512xxbc. I bought a pair in 36x36 and can’t even come close to getting them all the way on. I have a pair of samurai s5000xx25oz-20th 36-36 that fit good. They are second hand new off eBay. Seems to be a huge sizing descrepancy.

Unfortunately this seems to be a bit of a problem with Samurai for the past few years and it is probably putting denim fans, including myself, of the Brand entirely. You have hit the nail on the head in that you have 2 pairs in the same size and yes, even if the cut is completely different, you should still be able to put them on.

which lot no. did you get?

for sure those will feature painfully low front and back rises - they are supposed to sit on below the waist on the hip - checking if the cut works for you and if you need to size up is recommended.
additionally, the thighs might be slimmer than usual in order to exaggerate the flared character of the leg opening...

I believe they are lot 17 or 18. Samurai website states the 512xxbc is a high rise slim fit. Being unsanforized I’m thinking a38 would still shrink too much. But a 40 seems like I would be asking for a poor fit in the waist. The s5000xx25oz claims to be a mid rise and is as low as I can go. As stated before I got them on eBay used for  just under 200usd so I can deal with it on this pair. Maybe I could go with size 40 512 and if they are too big have caino farmer size them for me?

Took advantage of Denimio sale and pick up a pair of S3000VX ‘zero’ denim. Much rougher than the 710 and 510xx I have. Can’t wait to try them!

Nice purchase @Toegun, I had a pair years ago and they're probably the only Samurai cut I'd go for again, they're super comfortable.

P.S. enjoy the tiny pocket bags.:D:D:D

@501XX4EVER crumbs!!! Actually they're not too bad, these red pockets can take the whole hand without them being balled up into fists. But I did have to brace the waist with a bit of wood because they shrunk down a hell of a lot, defo shorter then my 510 and 710 too. Wish I had taken a before photo to show the difference, now -thanks to the dehumidifier- I got them on now and I have managed to close the top button. Hopefully my girth will stretch them into something comfortable.

I have a chance to purchase my FIRST Samurai jeans 36x36 unsanforized raw from a bricks & mortar so I get to actually try them on before purchase.

643XX - 20th Anniversary Special.

Do any of you have these? It was described to be similar to the Levi-1937 pattern.

All opinions appreciated.

This is also my first Heavyweight so opinions on whether that equates to increased durability also appreciated. I am trying to decide if these offer an advantage over SC40303 (16.25-oz 80/20 cotton/sugarcane) in either durability or fade characteristics.
