My favorite jeans from Samurai has always been their interpretation of classics:

- JIN Leepro, Leepro Jacket and Wrangler repro

- RR (esp. 510 and 510-66)

- 5000vx, 3000vx

I would say that I'm more of a Warehouse and Real McCoys fan in terms of an overall brand, but the classic Samurai will always bring me warm feelings, like a pair of No 1 Evisu.

JIN Jacket. From a few years ago. I don't get to where this often, but still beautiful denim.

0500xx. I can't believe I've had this for 5 years. Don't wear them as often either, only during the cold months.

They pretty much look the same except more seat wear. Yes my arcs are still intact after 5 years. Surprising because I work in visuals and usually these would be the first to go. Love 'em. Had the crotch repaired and re-inforced at denim surgeon. They asked me if I wanted the front pocket bag holes fixed, obviously I said "no" haha

because (like flash already said) limited editions are marked that way. or when a pair gets first introduced and samurai doesn't now if it will become a regular pairm the first batch gets the inverted 'A'

@switch: it's one of the Jins models. the S0210XJ. you might find some from last years release

hey guys, i have been thinking of getting a pair of 710. but i have doubts on the sizing. i am around 176/60 (have kinda skinny legs). been wearing a pair of size 29 pbj xx-011. but it's kinda loosen the waist by 1-1.5in. do you guys think i should get 28 or 29? cuz i heard sams would stretch out after some wear.

You should have no problem with sd1 , I sd1 with my last pair and had to sell as they stretched you lots

you don't have dize down 2. it has been done before and some guys can pull it off. stretch only occurs on points of stress. and if you are afraid the waist will stretch, wear a belt

oh and keep in mind..first they shrink a fair amount and they will take some washes until they reached their final size. so if you size down because you are afraif the waist could be too loose, keep in mind that other points might become to slim 1-2 years later

Yea mate listen to BF , the only reason I would size down 2 is because my legs and top block is fairly small

Take a good look at the thigh and rise measurements to determine what size is best for you

I've got a couple more holes at the crotch for some reason.. the threads have started to disintegrate.

Bonus: Rodeo clown (Me) at the Pronto Denim Carnival in Bangkok last month.
