The Yuketen money clip has two card slots on the back and front.

made of material similar to the kind used on usps envelopes:

feels like paper, but is tear-resistant and water-resistant

had this for a couple years I think.. and it's still holding up fine

no rips or anything.. only damage is the cigarette burn which I put there on purpose to prove to my friend it wouldn't catch on fire

looked like this new:

now it's like this:

I use some sort of J-Crew "magic" leather wallet I got as a gift once (not sure how to describe - it folds in weird ways). Not only does it fit what little stuff I have, but its an instant conversation starter the second someone sees it. Compliments to the maxxx.

nice color. I like that better than mine. Here's my version in white complete with indigo blue stains from my jeans:

Can someone enlighten me on the appeal of the comme des garcons wallets?

Comme Des Garcons ANYTHING is automatically of interest to me. However the wallets are classic. Good functionality, good quality, good design, good materials. It's all good. I had the plain black before my girlfriend got her wallet stizzolen in the mean streets of Beverly Hills and I gave her mine as a loaner. Here are some pics of my Comme wallet with 3 years wear:

The Head Porter wallet above is my current EDC. However, some of the posts in here have made me rethink my zippered, wallet style in lieu of something more rugged for next time:

I love the color on these worn in brown leathers. Good job guys.

i had a hard time deciding on a wallet wich suits my needs, as i did not want to stick a real bulky one to my ass, so i came up with this idea:

web.jpg?ver=12699877190001

web.jpg?ver=12699880720001

just stanced a hole and inserted an 4,5mm eyelet- rivet (did the same on the backside for those two pre-made holes - looks a lil nicer, imo) works beautifully for me, without the bulk of a "big" wallet.

As a nice side effect the rm kids wallet is small enough to be carried in a front jeans pocket when riding a motorbike, horse or whatever. The chain then is attached in a reverse order of course,... ;)

I started making my own wallets sometime back and although I'm not as competent as some of the folk here, I believe

I've improved a great deal since. Would be interested in feedback or advice.

The first wallet I made was a rendition of a wallet I purchased from leathergoodsconnection. The one on the right is

my version of the LGC wallet, it is made using thick buffalo leather. I didn't anticipate that cutting and

stitching would be difficult because of the thickness, even though I had tried thinning it out.

The next piece is a passport holder made for passports that are orientated from right to left, using maroon calf

leather with black leather piping.

This wallet is made using old snakeskin and stitched with leather, due to wear the leather is coming apart and has

to be reinforced.

Just got this Studio D'Artisan Wallet. I let it sit in the sun for an afternoon to darken it a tiny bit.

It has a zip up compartment for coins, section for cards, section for other slim items and a bill section across it's length.
