I don't know if others are feeling this way but the spring cadet pants are of horrible quality. The colour has faded from black to some kind of navy. The buttons have all come off and the fabric has faded where the zip is located...

All in all very disappointing.

there's a local store owner with whom i talk occasionally that does frequent trips to new york for fashion shows, traderooms and to see new brands and he has told me that he likes the aesthetic of the brand but thinks that quality is really bad given the pricepoint and that's the reason why he never considered stocking it. he says the same about tim hamilton.

I agree. geller and ndg have similar price range and both are made in japan but ndg clothing quality is way better than geller. He has alot of nice looking jackets though and I would only get one at a sale price.

Yeah it's mine. I did put them in the Market but people arent pulling the trigger so eBayed it. I bought 4 pairs of Geller jeans in August, and I'm not keeping any. I'm gonna cancel my pre-order for S/S 09 as well.

I agree with this, and the basic sweaters made from Robert Geller. I've only seen them in Japan though, but really are very basic for a $350 price tag. However, The Robocop sweaters, or toggle parka's look like money well spent.... well kinda.

Anyway, I think I'm done with the A/W 08 collection. Bring on the Blue leathers and maroon trench from S/S 09

gbc I am by no means hating on geller's collection, as soon as this stuff drops in perth I'll be getting a few pieces. Personally I'm just not a fan of that hoodies (or don't see the need to get expensive ones), so I wanted to see what about that item in particular ipp and co liked. I can't think of many outfits in which a hoodie is a good central point/looks awesome.

And triller I like the actual sweaters i;e the black one, and will probably get it. I think its just an aesthetic preference or dislike for hoodies. In hating on the piece I wasn't hating on the price or anything.

as for this discussion, i think you really can't trust a picture. i am curious about the sweatshirt because there must be something that is unique about it. possibly fit, material, details. you never know until you see it in person or try it on. it looks interesting from the picture, but not good enough of a picture to justify. and if im not mistaken, its around $250?

i'll have to see it in person and judge for myself. anyone know where to get it in nyc?

they have them at odin. it has very nice design of the body and nice details on the cuffs. at the end it's just a hoodie, it's not some elegant piece. to me it's worth the price and it's a better value than most of this season's pieces.

i have one and wear the hell out of it, i love it, great fit through out and a fucking huge hood. two things i don't care for about it, the contrast pull strings and lined seam in the hood/collar, and the zipper its a huge pain in the ass sometimes.

Wrong jacket. The jacket is actually the officers leather jacket.

Price is a bit high. Something around 1400
