greycast isn't a selvage denim. it's also lighter in composition and has a greenish cast to it. otherwise, fit and finish are about the same as the selvage.

i know they arent selvedge but how different do they wear over time? I was lookin at some pics on mynudies but it is rather difficlut to tell how the contrasting, wiskering and honeycombing compare to the selvedge pairs

kixslf, you should also consider that the selvage version is made from a heavier denim. there's a distinct difference there. the grey cast will wear out (holes, rips, etc.,.) much faster than the selvage version. i've heard complaints that the grey cast gets destroyed too easily.

it depends on more than the selvage. alot of it is the yarn and how it was woven, also the weight of the denim.

both the dry selvage and the greycast are amazing jeans, if your on a budget get the greycast, youll still get a nice result.

I don't know about faster wear. Depends on how much each person individually abuses/uses the jeans. I've seen RR selvs at 6-9 months with normal everday wear that looked just about the same or with even more wear than the greys. Denim thickness diffs I find really negligible between the 2. Both are quite stiff and heavy. As a whole I find Nudie's denim burns out fairly fast regardless of style if worn everyday as suggested.

ok, i also need to know about sizing, should i get my true to size [36] or go down to a 34 because of how much they stretch. My apc's are a 36 and they stretched a lot and its kinda annoying.
