Lightning Magazine Thread

Picked up a new Free & Easy the other day- it seems to have a slightly different format now, with more sartorialist-style people-on-the-street shots. Also, the first time I can remember seeing in F&E or Lightning, some women wearing nice denim well.

Thought this might be enjoyed by some here:

yup, thank goodness for the quality pics. they do have English words scattered along the way although very little, the brands and model numbers are thankfully in English, browsing thru, I noticed that the japanese tend to favor straight fit or straight slim, there is very little skinny fit featured in the mags. maybe it's just the mag. they also tend to wear their denim on the loose side if the cutting of the jeans is slimmer.

not that I'm complaining, I like to wear my jeans slightly on the looser side as well.

I don't have a scanner but I will probably be able to take some pics of the interesting articles /pics up on this thread to give sufu readers a rough idea of what these mags are all about before they purchase them.

Dankeschön, Markus!

always happy to share,Stefan.

Cajun - nice collection!

is there any way we might be able to get some scans of the Lightning T Shirt book?

Particularly the kuniyoshi-san feature? I believe he's featured in that one, showing his vintage t-shirt collection.

this one?
