i ordered a single shoulder. it's 4-6 sq ft for 18 bucks, not too bad. i also got a petite calf skin for lining, that was 6 sq ft too i believe. both veg tan.

ya man, no need to buy off of anyone. single shoulder should be around $20 and will make you like 2-3 wallets.

I'm paying $10 for something 1ftx1ft at the local hobby store. can you point me in the right direction as to where to find that sort of deal?

I was on there earlier, I'm having trouble finding the right type of leather though, there's a lot to choose from. I'm simply looking for some nice vegetable tanned leather, would be much appreciated if you could tell me where I could find that at tandy. Here's the link to the leather section...

i would like to ask you guys a quick question - how did you figure out the pattern? just looking at pictures of red moon wallets and sketching it out? or did you find wallet patterns somewhere on the internet?

i'd like to give this a go, fairly sure i can figure out the leatherworking part, but i'm concerned that i don't understand the construction of the wallet well enough to make the pattern correctly.
