It's been a minute and i'm heading to melbourne for 8 days, so was wondering if anyone wants to pitch in some good nightlife spots. On my list right now:

E55

Mercat

Revolver

Manchuria

FFour

Unlikely, but if anyone knows of a bass music scene lmk

edit: also gutted bout pacos tacos only being open on friday in winter!

Other than dot.comme, Eastern Market and Someday Store, any other decent stores worth checking out? Definitely not interested in Up There-type stuff

e: Also, restaurants worth checking out around Southbank (or really all of Melbourne if it's incredible). Hopefully nothing that needs reservations of more than a day

hey guys, long time. coming back to Melbourne for my wedding in November and trying to find a restaurant venue that can fit 120-180 people, preferably seated but struggling. Movida Aqui is the current front runner but can only do cocktail style. any recommendations would be good, haven't been home in nearly 2 years so my restaurant knowledge is outdated!

city, outskirts, basically anything within a 1 hour or so radius would be fair game. was thinking of the Yarra Valley as a possibility but the only good restaurant/cafe I've been to there was the Innocent Bystander and they don't do functions.

Ybarra valley have a few , most of the places that have a cellar door with a restaurant attached will do functions . Iv not eaten at any for a good decade . I like the ones on the morning perninsular Red Hill to be exact but I'm biased as I live down that way .
