I was listening to depeche mode - enjoy the silence the other day. it was a nice soundtrack for the first couple of runs.

I have times when i'm with a group of friends and we are just riding to one up each other or progress same thing happens when I'm alone sometimes but then other times i just wanna be alone and just enjoy the ride and listen to something that compliments the experiance

I've tried riding backcountry and slopes with headphones on and I've gotta say, I really miss the sound of the wind. Also, I feel fairly unsafe when I'm not able to hear stuff in backcountry, especially the sound of a 4 x 4 foot slab of slough while riding through tight trees on a 71.

Last time I was a out- weeks ago- all I listened to was some Joshua Redman Quartet- Moodswing and some Keith Jarret trio

I used to listen to like Cocteau Twins, MBV, Brief Candels and stuff, but that became too distracting.

Then I started listing to like dan bell and stuff, but that became stupid.
