Iron Heart Jeans

I like them fine. I have the IHT-1610 in grey and the IHT-1721 in green. They're very well made and I have not experienced any shrinkage. I can't get as excited about them as I do about a shirt or a pair of jeans. I would like them better if they were indigo I think. Note that they are heavyweight but SDA makes some even weightier shirts, in indigo.

I also have the IHTB-01, which is very cool (but not loopwheeled).

A little update on my 634s'

It has been a long time with the jeans, but these have become my daily pair now that my Sam's are retired. They were repaired by the wonderful people at Detroit Denim.

These have accompanied by on a lot of travels, rodeos in Alberta Ca, driving across the US and Canada up to Alaska (in January), winter hiking in Quebec, and plenty of walks with the pooches!

Some awkward pics of my DWC2 IH-888-NT from a few weeks ago. Prolly 13+ months wear. Due for another wash soon, and some better pics. Still fading...

Excuse the mess, but here is some new jeans. It's the PIH10ANS =) I'll give them a wash today.

Just a quick edit; gave these a 50C soak then a cold wash in the washing machine (low spin setting). The water was quite deep in colour, so I was initially worried that I should have been lighter on the washing style. The jeans are still very dark, so I probably just limited the initial rub-off. I had these hemmed by IHUK to 34", but could have chopped a bit more off because I'm a shorty. Also, I'll remember for next time to specify including the cutoffs in the package because it would have been nice to have it for future colour comparison.

PS, probably best not to put these suckers in the dryer. I spent a solid amount of time scrubbing the inside of the dryer because it was so blue! I eventually soaked an old T-shirt in water and threw it into the dryer for a spin. Saved me some effort.

Before -> After (size 31, btw)

Waist: 41.5cm -> 40.5cm

Front rise: 28cm -> 27.25cm

Back rise: 40.5cm -> 38.75cm

Thigh: 32.25cm -> 31.75cm

Knee: 23cm -> 22.5cm

Hem: 22cm -> 21.75cm

Inseam: 86.25cm -> 83.25cm

I could have managed a slightly smaller waist, but I don't think my legs would have been comfortable. Overall, I'm very happy with these!

I like how this fabric fades. What type of Iron heart is this on their webstore? Because i can't find the 888-NT type for sale since it's a one off DWC special edition.

This is UHR denim. 21oz raw, 23oz washed. IH did a run or 2 or 888's in UHR denim but with a different patch. They also had version w/ yellow arcs and no arcs. The only difference on the NT (Nama Tako) is the patch and stealth arcs. There might be some 888-UHR left, haven't looked in a while. UHR has been discontinued. The NT's and the 888-UHR were made with the last stock they had of a 2nd run of UHR, if I understand correctly.
