I dont think UE is really good until you get into the custom monitors that they offer. Probably not worth the ~1k price tag though. The sound of superfi's is really thin and lacking in bass. If you want deep bass (albeit at the cost of high end clarity - which doesn't really matter much if you have the roar and chatter of a commute going on) then I always recommend these. http://www.futuresonics.com/Atrio/Atrio.html

It's actually kinda fun to put on, it's just more about finding stuff to go under that actually fit, it's pretty trim p2p because he's trying to keep the sides nipped in so the huge muscle arm thing can happen. Gotta get a nice tight waistcoat or something made up, maybe get a long 3/4 length blazer or something too. It needs (preferably boxy) trousers and proper shoes, skinny jeans or making it casual or whatever won't cut it. Will probably lurk my closet for most of its existence.
